Summary Cards

The summary cards are the row of headline figures at the top of the Analytics dashboard, directly beneath the filter bar. They give you an at-a-glance read on the period you have selected. All six cards update together whenever you click Apply.

Reading the Cards

Checklists Started

A simple count of checklists that were started within your selected period and that match your template, user, and tag filters. This is the baseline volume figure for the dashboard.

Checklists Completed

The number of checklists that reached a completed state. The % completion label below the figure expresses this as a proportion of Checklists Started, giving you a throughput rate for the period.

Avg Cycle Time

The average elapsed time from a checklist being started to being completed. This is shown in a friendly format:

  • Under 24 hours, it is shown in hours (for example, 6.5h).
  • 24 hours or more, it is shown in days (for example, 2.3d).
  • If there is not enough data to calculate it, a dash () is shown.

Cycle time is a good measure of how long your processes actually take end to end.

Tasks Completed

The total number of tasks completed during the period — this figure includes tasks that were completed late. The % on time label shows the proportion of those completions that were finished on or before their due date, which is a useful measure of how reliably work is being done to schedule.

Tasks Overdue

The number of tasks that are currently past their due date and not yet complete. This figure is highlighted to draw attention to outstanding work. The % of tasks label shows how large that backlog is relative to the total number of tasks in scope.

Completed Late

The number of tasks that were completed, but only after their due date had passed. The Avg turnaround figure beneath it shows the average time taken to complete a task, using the same hours/days format as cycle time.

note

Tasks Completed counts all completions (on time and late), while Completed Late counts only the late ones. The late count is therefore a subset of the completed count, not an addition to it.
