Example Templates

The Example Templates library is a public collection of pre-built process templates provided by CheckFlow. It is available to anyone — you do not need to be logged in to browse it. When you find a template that fits your needs, you can import it directly into your team's Library as a starting point that you can then customise.

Opening the Example Templates Library

Click the Example Templates link in the Library sidebar. This opens the public template browser.

Browsing and Searching

Templates are displayed as cards. Each card shows the template name, a short description, and a preview of the top-level tasks it contains.

Use the search bar at the top of the page to search for templates by name or keyword. You can also filter by category to narrow the results to a specific industry or workflow type.

Previewing a Template

Click on any template card to open a full preview showing all tasks and their content. This lets you review exactly what the template contains before importing it.

Importing a Template

When you find a template you would like to use:

  1. Open the template preview by clicking the template card.
  2. Click the Import Template button.
  3. The template will be copied into your team's Library.
note

You must be logged in to import a template. You also need to be an Administrator or have the Template.Creator permission. Guest users cannot import templates.

Once imported, the template will appear in the Unfiled folder in your Library. You can move it to the appropriate folder from there.

Editing an Imported Template

Imported templates are fully editable. Once the import is complete, open the template from your Library and click Edit Template to customise it in the Template Designer — add or remove tasks, change assignments, update content, or adjust any other settings to fit your team's process.

The imported template is completely independent of the original example template, so your changes will not affect the public version.
