The Tags Menu
The Tags Menu is the primary way to navigate to your tagged items in CheckFlow. It lives in the left navigation sidebar and provides one-click access to all of your tags.
Accessing the Tags Menu
The Tags Menu button appears in the left navigation sidebar whenever your team has at least one tag. If no tags have been created yet, the Tags Menu button is not displayed.
To open the Tags Menu:
- Look for the Tags button in the left navigation sidebar (it shows a tag icon).
- Hover over or click the Tags button to expand the sub-menu.
- A list of all your team's tags appears in alphabetical order.

Navigating to a Tag
Click any tag in the Tags Menu to open the Tag Page for that tag.
The Tag Page shows you every item in CheckFlow that has been tagged with that tag — including checklists, tasks and library items (if you have library access). This gives you an instant, consolidated view of everything associated with that tag without having to search or filter manually.
Tags Are Shared Across Your Team
The Tags Menu shows all tags that exist within your team's CheckFlow account. Every team member who has access to CheckFlow can see and use the Tags Menu. The items visible within each tag's page are still subject to the individual user's permissions — for example, a user who does not have access to a particular checklist will not see it on the Tag Page even if it carries the selected tag.
Finding a Specific Tag
Tags are listed alphabetically in the Tags Menu. If your team has a large number of tags, scroll through the list to find the one you are looking for. For teams with many tags, it is worth agreeing on a consistent naming convention — for example, using prefixes like Project:, Client: or Dept: — to keep tags grouped and easy to find.
What Happens When a Tag Is Deleted
If an administrator deletes a tag, it is immediately removed from the Tags Menu. It is also removed from all checklists, tasks and library items that it was applied to. The items themselves are not affected — only the tag association is removed.
See Managing Tags to learn how to rename or delete tags.
