Filtering by Tags

In addition to the Tags Menu, CheckFlow provides a Tags Filter on the Checklist Dashboard that lets you narrow the checklist grid down to show only checklists that carry one or more specific tags. This is useful when you want to view tagged checklists alongside all the standard dashboard tools — sorting, searching, status filters — rather than switching to a dedicated Tag Page.

Using the Tags Filter

The Tags Filter is located at the top of the Checklist Dashboard.

  1. Navigate to the Checklist Dashboard from the left navigation sidebar.
  2. Locate the Tags filter control at the top of the page.
  3. Click the filter and start typing a tag name, or click to expand the dropdown and browse available tags.
  4. Select one or more tags to apply as filters.

The checklist grid will immediately update to show only checklists that carry all of the selected tags. Checklists without every selected tag are hidden from the grid.

Filtering by Multiple Tags

You can select more than one tag in the Tags Filter. When multiple tags are selected, the dashboard shows only checklists that carry every one of the selected tags. This lets you create very specific views — for example, filtering by both Project: Alpha and High Priority to see only the high priority checklists within that project.

To add another tag to the filter, simply click the filter control again and select an additional tag.

Clearing the Tags Filter

To remove a tag from the filter, click the × next to the tag name in the filter control. Removing all tags from the filter returns the dashboard to its unfiltered state, showing all checklists you have access to.

Tags Filter vs Tags Menu

Both the Tags Filter and the Tags Menu help you find tagged checklists, but they serve different purposes:

Use the Tags Menu when you want to see everything associated with a tag across the whole of CheckFlow. Use the Tags Filter when you want to stay on the Checklist Dashboard and combine tag filtering with other dashboard tools.

Saving a Filtered View

If you regularly filter the Checklist Dashboard by the same set of tags, consider saving a Custom Report that includes the tag filter as a preset. This gives you one-click access to your commonly used filtered views without having to re-apply the filter each time. See the Reports documentation for details.
